hi all. help would be greatly apreciated. I want to put movies on my ipod touch. I only want to put the audio, and don't want it to mix in my music. when i try to put it in the video folder, it wants to put it in music cause there mp3's. can i make a folder somewhere other than my music folder to put the audio, which is mp3's from movies? i'm so confuzzled. lmao! if this can be done, how do i do it? and if not what do you guys do?

hi. you could create a playlist with the movies on it and play that playlist on your iPod.

find the movie in your iTunes library under music source then press the applications key on the file and go to get info .. ctrl tab over to where it says type or something like taht .. change the genre to movie and you may want to check the box for resume from when last stopped, though taht may only be available for audio books can't remember, some of this may be under the info tab as well

i figured it out. just made a play list. i was also bummed about the mp3 audio books. i could play them, but they would randomly jump around, couldn't make a book mark and stuff like that. I also figured a way around this. If anyone else wants to use there touch for audio books and don't want to buy them from i tunes, gets them else where in mp3 form. there is a free converter. just google mp3 to ipod audio book converter. it converts them to whatever format it is, i can't remember. then the book marks and stuff work. yaaaaay. happy dance. lmao! you can also put the books in the audio book folder instead of having to make a play list. the mp3 books still in mp3 format won't go in that folder. to keep them seperate i had to create a seperate play list. no longer now. yaay

u know u don't need a converter or anything all those settings can be done in itunes by pressing the applications key on a file name and going to get info and poking around under the different tabs in there.
